Twitter sucks, nerds

Twitter is the newest social networking trend and holy shit, what a useless one. At least Facebook and Myspace have some slight usefulness mixed in with all the garbage (okay so Myspace is now only good for music and preying on 14 year old girls, both relevent to my interests.)

Essentially Twitter is just a status update site, that’s all you can do, see people’s updates and make updates of your own. Your life is evidentally not interesting enough to warrant a play by play because you’re taking the time to give one. I don’t get it, you’re boring, don’t you get it?

I realize the irony of taking the time to write this but I’m getting paid to do so.  If you can tell me how Twitter is useful to you, I’m all ears, but I’m only giving you 140 characters, nerds.

That Feeling

Blood rushing, heart racing. Getting adrenaline rushes a lot lately, it feels great. I feel so alive. Take risks, take chances, do something stupid, it’s worth it for the thrill. Stop talking, start living.

I ended up picking up a half decent digital camera tonight before work so Derrick you can expect this blog to get slightly more interesting, everyone likes pictures, right?

fg_058This is a crow bar…see they got the little stools and everything…

Sometimes I get ideas in my head of sweet things to do that would make a person’s day, if I ever have the opportunity. Things that could only be done in another place or at a later date. I have a few in my head right now that I could have the opportunity to make happen in the near future that I know would make the person(s) smile. Does that take the romanticism out of the whole idea? No, just the spontaneity maybe. It’s always nice to know that someone has you on their mind.
